Posted April 23, 2025, The Surplus Lines Association of California posted a bulletin that updated the List of Approved Surplus Line Insurers (LASLI) to reflect that: - Fortegra Specialty Insurance Company (Arizona) has been added to the LASLI effective April 16, 2025 The updated LASLI in its entirety is available on the [CDI website.](https://www.insurance.ca.gov/01-consumers/120-company/07-lasli/lasli.cfm)  Please see the attachment for more information. 

Effective April 25, 2025, Georgia will start displaying the following license classes on the Producer Database. - Rental Preferred Provider Network - Life Plan Community - Life Settlement Provider - Pharmacy Benefit Manager - Limited Premium Finance - Premium Finance - Third Party Administrator - Third Party Administrator - Exempt - Charitable Organization

Effective August 1, 2025, North Dakota will be updating fees around: license classes, exams, and appointments for residents and nonresidents. - Producer Appointments - Current Fee: $10.00 - New Fee: $25.00 - Third-Party Administrator - Current Fee Initial: $25.00 - Current Fee Renewal: $25.00 - New Fee Initial: $250.00 - New Fee Renewal: $100.00 - Life Settlements - Provider - Current Fee Initial: $250.00 - Current Fee Renewal: $100.00 - New Fee Initial: $100.00 - New Fee Renewal: $25.00 - Broker - Current Fee Renewal: $12.00 - New Fee Renewal: $25.00 North Dakota will also be switching from using Pearson VUE as the exam vendor to PSI. Examination Fee Updates - Current Fee: $100.00 - New Fee: $64.00 (Major Lines) / $58.00 (Limited Lines) Please see the attached for more information.

Posted April 17, 2025, Louisiana appointment renewal invoices will be available for payment from July 1, 2025, through August 1, 2025. The termination deadline is June 27, 2025. A state charge of $100 per appointment renewal.

Posted April 17, 2025, Maryland appointment renewal invoices will be available for payment from June 3, 2025, through August 31, 2025. The termination deadline is May 24, 2025. The Maryland Motor Club Representative appointment renewal fee is $2.00 per appointment.

Posted April 15, 2025, Vermont company appointment renewal invoices will be available for payment from June 3, 2025, through June 30, 2025 The termination deadline is May 31, 2025. The costs are broken down below.

Posted April 11, 2025, North Dakota is moving towards combining the [North Dakota Securities Department and the Insurance Department](https://www.insurance.nd.gov/news/governor-signs-bill-merging-insurance-and-securities-oversight-north-dakota?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery). This merger will: - Seek to simplify licensing/compliance - Efficient enforcement - Quicker resolution of fraud cases North Dakota will join 16 other states that have adopted this unified regulatory model. Posted April 9, 2025, Ohio sent out a notice about the upcoming 2025 appointment renewal. - Any appointment that is active on June 30, 2025, will automatically be renewed effective July 1, 2025. A renewal invoice will be sent to the company in August 2025. The invoice will include the appointment renewal fees for all agent and agency appointments that were active as of June 30, 2025.  - All appointment termination requests must be completed before June 30, 2025. Posted April 10, 2025, Utah sent out a bulletin to remind title insurance producers and agencies of the requirements to keep licensed files updated with current information about DRLPs and Addresses.  The bulletin also includes reminders on how to reinstate an inactive license and special requirements for title insurance.
